WWU employees can try Salsa for Couples class beginning in January
Think you can dance? Want to learn? The Employee Wellness Program at Western Washington University is offering a Salsa for Couples class beginning Jan. 21 on campus.
The classes, which cost $99 per quarter, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays in Carver Gymnasium gym D.
Through L.A. style Salsa, couples will learn the basic steps of salsa dance while improving overall body coordination, communication through movement, and having fun while looking good! Classes will include basic turn patterns, individual styling (making beginners look like practiced professionals) and several sub-styles of latin dance. Whether you plan on dancing at home or at the various clubs in Seattle, this class is an excellent opportunity to have fun while getting a great workout.
Check the activity calendar for a day-by-day class schedule. There are some days on which classes will not be held.
