Unable to hold onto a five-run lead late in the opener and a one-run advantage midway in the nightcap, Western Washington University was swept by unbeaten Hawaii Pacific University, 9-8 in eight innings and 5-1, in a softball doubleheader on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

WWU sweeps doubleheader at BYU Hawaii

Western Washington University got solid pitching performances from Aspen Ison and Shayna Adelstein as it swept a softball doubleheader at Brigham Young University Hawaii, 8-1 and 2-1, on Monday, Feb. 9, at the BYUH campus field.

WWU improved to 3-1 and BYU Hawaii fell to 0-4.
