What's open, closed July 4 in Whatcom County

Government offices and some businesses will close Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Most large retail stores, restaurants, movie theaters and video stores will be open, though some places may have limited hours. Smaller retail stores may close; call ahead to check.

Bellingham’s annual celebration of the life and mission of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is coming up next Monday.
