WWU's Center for Economic Vitality partners with The Woods Coffee for 'Open Office Hours'

Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics’ Center for Economic Vitality, in partnership with The Woods Coffee, will offer monthly office hours at three Woods Coffee locations beginning Thursday, Sept. 8.

These events are open to new or existing clients and will be held at the Flatiron (10 Prospect St., Bellingham), Lynden Safeway (8071 Guide Meridian, Lynden) and Ferndale (1867 Main St.) locations. Open office hours are from 7-10 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month, starting on Sept. 8. No registration or appointment is needed. For more information, contact Marilyn Grady, CEV program assistant, at (360) 733-4014.

Businesses will have the opportunity to discuss challenges or opportunities with one of the CEV’s business strategists or research analysts. These events are designed for business owners or managers who are interested in a brief conversation about business issues they may be facing.

The CEV’s staff will be on hand to offer counseling or address research topics which may support decision making. Participants will also be invited to schedule follow-up meetings to pursue more in-depth conversations. For more than 20 years, the CEV has enabled Western Washington University's College of Business and Economics to give back to the business community and has helped to shape the economic future of our region one business at a time.

The CEV provides free, confidential counseling and technical assistance combined with competitive intelligence research/economic gardening services and export assistance to business owners and managers throughout Washington state.
