WWU's Bronstein to give English horn concert downtown Feb. 13

Ken Bronstein, an instructor in the Department of Accounting at Western Washington University, will give an English horn performance from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at The Amadeus Project, 1209 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham.

Joining Bronstein will be pianist Andrea Rackl, soprano Amber Sudduth Bone (a WWU music instructor), oboists Jennifer Weeks (a WWU oboe instructor) and Kristen Gillig, violinists John Tilley and Eve Smason Marcus, violist Phil Heaven and cellist Nick Strobel.

The event, "Plays Well with Others: An Afternoon of English Horn Music," will benefit The Amadeus Project, a nonprofit music institution offering a concert hall and teaching studio for the local community.

A reception will follow the performance. A suggested donation of $10 may be made at the door.
