WWU Theatre Presents 'The Jungle Book' May 12-15 and 18-22

Western Washington University’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present “The Jungle Book,” with an original concept by Deb Currier and directed by Gregory Pulver, May 12 to 15 and 18 to 22 in the Performing Arts Center Mainstage Theater.

Adapted directly from the British author Rudyard Kipling’s beloved collection of stories written in 1894, this truly collaborative production combines traditional Indian dance, music and storytelling with fantasy costumes, integrated puppets, special effects and beautiful scenery that is sure to delight the whole family.

“The Jungle Book” begins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, May 12-14, and Wednesday through Saturday, May 18-21; as well as at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 15 and 22. All performances will be held in the PAC Mainstage Theater.

Tickets are available through the WWU Box Office and cost $12 for general admission; $10 for seniors, WWU faculty and staff; and $8 for students.
