WWU nutritionist to speak at Faculty and Staff Wellness Program event Feb. 16

Western Washington University nutritionist Jill Kelly will speak at a free Lunch 'n Learn event sponsored by the WWU Faculty and Staff Wellness Program at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 16.

Kelly's presentation, called “Nutrition Means Nourishment,” will take place in SMATE Room 130. No RSVP is necessary.

Kelly is Western's registered dietitian, dedicated to bringing nutritional health to campus. She received a master's degree in college and community education from WWU and a bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisc. She is registered nationally with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and certified in Washington state.

In her presentation, Kelly will give tips to erase the concept of dieting and instead replace it with an environment of nourishment and mindfulness.
