WWU College of Business and Economics to Host Marian Exall May 4

BELLINGHAM – Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) will host Marian Exall for its Ethics and Social Responsibility Speaker Series from 3-4 p.m. on May 4 in Communications Facility 115.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Exall is an employment attorney with more than 25 years’ experience in both in-house and outside counsel roles, including as Home Depot’s senior corporate counsel for Employee Relations. She is the co-founder of Employment Law Compliance, an organization devoted to developing human-resource compliance services and solutions for banks.

In 2003, Exall joined The Network, a leader in the governance, risk and compliance area, as corporate counsel. At The Network, she brings a legal compliance perspective as new legislation highlights the importance of creating and maintaining an ethical workplace through employee communications tools.

Exall is a frequent speaker on compliance topics at seminars and has appeared on CNBC and Fox News. She earned her undergraduate degree from the London School of Economics, and her J.D. (with distinction) is from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta.
