Wise & Well U to hold Flu Shot Clinic for onsite critical employees Oct. 14

As part of Western's Wise & Well U program, the Benefits Department will hold a flu shot clinic on Wednesday, Oct. 14 for onsite critical employees. If you are not working on campus, it is recommended you visit your doctor or pharmacy covered by your insurance to get your flu shot.

To make this convenient as possible, pharmacists from Fred Meyer will be on-site at the Viking Union Multipurpose Room to administer the vaccinations.

An online scheduling tool will be available soon. Stay tuned.

Important: Kaiser Insurance Update

Please note Kaiser has opened a specialty pharmacy in Bellingham on Telegraph Road. Starting Oct. 1, the following pharmacies will no longer be covered by Kaiser:

Fred Meyer
Haggen
Rite Aid
Walgreens
Safeway
Costco

This does not affect those covered by Uniform Medical Plan.
