Western to hold 5K event during Back 2 Bellingham weekend
As part of Back 2 Bellingham weekend, Western Washington University will put on the first-ever Back 2 Bellingham 5K Fun Run in support of Western Faculty Enrichment.
The race, put on by the Employee Wellness Program at WWU, begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 15, at the Performing Arts Center on campus.
Runners and walkers of all ability levels are encouraged to participate in the 5K (3.1 miles) event.
Registration for community members and WWU faculty and staff is $20 in advance and $30 on the day of the event. The registration cost for students is $15 in advance or $25 on May 15.
The race will begin at the PAC and wind through Western's campus. A map of the course is available online.
