Sax conference to feature public concerts

The North American Saxophone Alliance is holding its Region 1 conference from Jan. 23 to 25 on the Western Washington University campus. The conference features clinics, recitals and master classes throughout the three days.

Concerts at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, feature WWU's Equus Sax Quartet, featured above, and the WWU Orchestra. Equus is fresh off a win at a student competition at Central Washington University.
