UPDATED: WTA is proposing improvements to WWU service for June of 2019

Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) will be tabling on campus Tuesday afternoon 2:30 – 4:30pm in the VU, near the Info Desk, to provide information.  (or call 360-788-9311 or comment at ridetwa.com).  Details are available by clicking the link under "Notices" at ww.ridewta.com or following this link here.

Proposed improvements:

  • Provide year round seven day-a-week service from 32nd Street to/from campus.
  • Add time to Route 190 (often runs late now).
  • Add more service on Samish Way to campus.
  • Add more evening service.

After the public comment period, approved changes will begin June of 2019.
