Two more interviews for EESP vice provost to take place spring quarter

A successful conclusion was not reached after the January interviews of the candidates for the position of vice provost for Extended Education and Summer Programs, and Western Washington University Provost Catherine Riordan has announced that two additional candidates will be interviewing on campus early spring quarter.

Information about the finalists is listed below, along with the schedule for the forums open to the campus community. The finalists’ curriculum vitae are available for review by contacting Bev Jones, assistant to the provost.

Provost Riordan encourages active participation by the campus community in this important recruitment effort.

March 31 - April 1: Earl Gibbons, vice provost and associate vice president at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. The university-wide forum presentation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in SL Room 110.

April 5 - 6: Guy K. Hutt, associate dean, Math & Applied Technologies, and head dean, Development: Brunswick College Center, at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. The university-wide forum presentation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, in SL Room 110.
