Trimble has articles published

Joseph E. Trimble, a professor in the psychology department, recently published a co-edited book with F.T.L. Leoung, L. Comas-Dias, G.N. Hall and V. McLloyd titled "Handbook of Multicultural Psychology, Volume I," published by American Psychological Association Publishing.

In the handbook, he published a chapter titled "Ethical Matters and Contentions in the Principled Conduct of Research with Ethnocultural Communities" with his co-authors M. Scharron-del Rio and D. Casillas. In addition, he published a chapter titled "Advancing Understanding of Cultural Competence, Cultural Sensitivity, and the Effects of Cultural Incompetence" in a co-edited book by M. Prinstein and M. Patterson titled "The Portable Mentor: Expert Guide to a Successful Career in Psychology, second edition."

And with his co-authors I.D. Rivkin, D.S. Lopez, S. Johnson, and E. Orr he published an article titled "Disseminating Research in Rural Yup’ik Communities: Challenges and Ethical Considerations in Moving from Discovery to Intervention Development" in the International Journal of Circumpolar Health.
