The Ridge open for trick-or-treating Sunday

More than 150 costumed Western Washington University students will be waiting to welcome local trick-or-treaters from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Ridgeway University Residences complex.

All of Ridgeway’s community lounges will be decorated in fun, safe, age-appropriate themes aimed at children ages 4-12. Groups of trick-or-treaters will be taken, along with their required adult escort, on tours of the complex’s various themed locations, with the total tour taking about an hour to complete. A member of Western’s Residence Life Student staff or a Ridgeway complex resident will lead each tour.

More than 200 children participated in this event last year. This year’s themes will include: “WALL-E,” Under the Sea, Luau, Jungle, “Despicable Me,” Treasure Island, “Monsters University” and Galaxy! Come see what fun adventures this year brings!
