Tech group to discuss cloud-based services June 6

At its next meeting June 6, the Learning Technology Group at Western Washington University will discuss Dropbox and Evernote, two cloud-based tools that can be used by faculty, staff and students to organize work and store it in a shareable place.

Presenting "Saving Your Ideas on the Cloud" will be Jasmine Hepburn, Alyssa Schwartz and J'neil Cottle. The presentation will be followed by a discussion of cloud-based applications and their benefits for educators and students.

The meeting, which is open to all interested members of the Western community, runs from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, in Miller Hall Room 56.

The Learning Technology Group at Western is an ongoing effort to engage faculty in implementing and evaluating new technologies for teaching.
