Longtime elementary school teacher James Clark almost became an electrician.

“Initially, that was my interest, said Clark. “I always liked fixing things and tinkering with electronics,” Clark said.

When Gustavo Camacho stepped off an airplane that had just landed in Cuba, a mob of greeters welcomed him and his fellow musicians.

“It almost seemed like they were waiting for a rock star to emerge from the airport,” he said.

Amber Sudduth Bone has been a member of the vocal faculty at Western Washington University since 2006. She is the instructor for introduction to voice studies, diction and vocal pedagogy, and is coordinator for the voice studios program.
