Students to sell original art Feb. 12

Students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Western Washington University will be selling their art on Thursday, Feb. 12, to raise money for the first-ever WWU BFA Catalog, a published collection of works created by the gradating BFA class.

The sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Fine Arts Room 213.

The small-scale artworks for sale Thursday include both Valentine and non-Valentine themed art. Works will start at $5 and increase in price from there. All proceeds will go toward the production of a catalog for the Spring BFA group show in the Western Gallery.

Artists include, Camila Frey-Booth, Francesca Chassereau, Camille Crocetti, Bonnie Smerdon, Courtney Odell, Brooke Welsh, Quinton Maldonado, Dan Morris, Caitlin Christopher, Jake Fetterman, Christine Henie, Shingo Kawamura, Weston Horner, Jessica Butler, Kendra Story, Julie McPheters, Rachel Hsu, and Ashley Olason.
