Students to hold 5K race April 17 to raise money for relief in Burma

The Associated Students Run for Relief in Burma WWU chapter will host the annual 5K fun run at 10 a.m. on April 17 at Lake Padden Park.

Registration fees are $10 for entry only for Western Students with ID and $15 for general admission. For entry and a T-shirt the cost is $15 for Western students with ID and $20 for general admission. Children 12 and younger are free with a paying adult. Registration will take place at 9 a.m. the day of the race.

All proceeds go to Free Burma Rangers and Partner Relief and Development, a non-profit organization that supports internally displaced Burmese refugees.
