WWU Theatre Arts to present 'High School Musical' July 22 to Aug. 8 in the Underground Theatre

The WWU Department of Theatre Arts will present “High School Musical,” directed by WWU Theatre Arts Chair Deborah Currier, this July and August in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Underground Theater.

The musical sensation from Disney Studios that started it all, “High School Musical” follows two high school juniors from rival cliques. The story has been considered a modern adaption of the classic love story, “Romeo and Juliet,” and is a great family production with plenty of singing and dancing for everyone to enjoy.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, July 22-24, July 29-31, and Aug. 5-7; as well as at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 25 and Aug. 1 and 8.

Tickets are available through the WWU Box Office and cost $12 general; $10 seniors, WWU faculty and staff; and $8 for students.

WWU Box Office hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and one hour prior to the performance. For tickets or disability accommodations, contact the WWU Box Office at (360) 650-6146 or visit http://www.tickets.wwu.edu.
