Today at 3: Randall Benson to speak on management, leadership on campus

Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics will host Randall Benson at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, in Academic Instructional Center West 204 on the WWU campus.

This presentation is a part of the CBE Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series, which brings senior business leaders to campus to interact with students and share their perspectives on strategic management, leadership and professional development.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Economics from WWU and master’s degree from the University of Washington, Benson became fascinated with organizational breakthroughs and innovation. He has since helped organizations, in a wide range of industries, achieve breakthroughs in products, processes and culture.

Benson, formerly a senior consultant with Coopers and Lybrand and managing principal for World Class International, now owns Benson Consulting and is a partner with Biocast Technology.

Randall’s new book “The Quest Effect” describes a new approach to organizational growth and development, based on concepts from several different disciplines including psychology, complexity theory and evolution.

The Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Excellence in Management Education.
