Faculty: What are you working on this summer?

Hey, faculty: What are you working on this summer? Huxley's David Shull is on a research vessel in the Bering Sea. Geology's Doug Clark is on top of BC's Mount Waddington, drilling core samples from a 600-foot-thick glacier (see image at right). Biology's Eric Dechaine is trekking across the Alaskan tundra in his research on historic climate change.

What are you doing? Here at the Office of University Communications, we want to know. Write to us, and tell us! We'd like to get your work some publicity, whether that's in the form of a press release to local or regional media, inclusion in a Web outlet such as Gaia, a story in Western Today, or possible inclusion in one of the University's print publications.

We do our best to keep up on what you are researching, but we need your help! contact john Thompson at john.thompson@wwu.edu or 650-4502 and help keep us up to speed!
