'Spotlight' showing Tuesday night as part of J-Camp

About 150 high school journalism students from the Pacific Northwest (mostly Washington) are on campus through Wednesday for J-Camp, sponsored by the Washington Journalism Education Association.

This is the first time they’ve been here while classes are meeting, so you may see them around, and they may peek into classes or ask questions. The student publications will have open houses for the high school journalists to visit on Tuesday afternoon. This is a great recruitment opportunity, but we also just want them to be welcome!

WWU students are welcomed to join the J-Camp for a showing of “Spotlight” at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday in AW 204. It’s sponsored by the WWU Student Chapter of SPJ.

Thanks for welcoming them to campus!
