Senior photography students to display work in 'Mixed Nuts' at WWU

The students of Western Washington University’s Advanced Photo Seminar will showcase their creativity and skills with photography and mixed media in a gallery show titled “Mixed Nuts: A Tasty Blend of Photography and Mixed Media” from March 8 through March 16 in the University’s B Gallery. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The opening reception will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 10 in the B Gallery.

“This show is an incredible body of work that is an example of student experimentation and innovation,” said professor Garth Amundson, who supervised the artists as they pieced together their show.

The show will feature photography and mixed media creations by the following artists: Adam McRae, Alyssa Putnam, Anna Zuck, Heidi Killings, Jeff Emtman, Joe Rudko, Laurel Kam, Marybeth Coghill, Meri Rose Eckberg, and Teresa Grasseschi.

The exhibit will explore themes of identity, imagination and the unknown.
