Search for Dwight Clark continues in Bellingham

Officers from the Bellingham Police Department have set up a mobile precinct in the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue in downtown Bellingham as the search for missing Western Washington University student Dwight Clark continues. Police will be using the mobile precinct tonight and tomorrow night to conduct interviews and follow leads. The police held a briefing with volunteers at 10 o'clock this morning.

Anyone with information to share regarding Clark's disappearance should call 911.

Dwight Clark was last seen leaving a residence in the 1000 block of Indian Street at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. He was wearing blue jeans, a pink tie-dyed T-shirt and black Nike athletic shoes.

Clark, who is 18 years-old, is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is a freshman from Auburn.

  • Put up a poster to help alert others to Clark's disappearance. Fliers are available online here or at the Viking Union Information Desk on the WWU campus. The VU Info Desk is located on the sixth floor of the building.

  • A candlelight gathering in honor of Clark will be held Saturday in Auburn, Clark's hometown, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Brannan Skate Park. The public is invited. The park is located at 611 28th St. NE in Auburn.
