Scholars Week continues through Friday

There's no better way to learn about the fascinating research our students are involved in than to talk with them in person during the Scholars Week poster show.

Check it out until 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Carver Gymnasium.

Scholars Week is an annual celebration of undergraduate research and creative activities at WWU. During this 13th annual observance, Western is recognizing the work of students and faculty mentors with whom they collaborate.

All departments and programs in Western's seven colleges have been encouraged to stage or create events demonstrating their students' research or creative activities work during Scholars Week.

Opportunity for undergraduate student research and creative activities is growing at WWU.

From art to engineering technology, students and faculty are working closely together at WWU to explore the boundaries of knowledge. Scholars Week has become a highlight of the academic year, celebrating the contributions of undergraduate students to enriching the intellectual environment of Western, and society in general.
