Rock band The Globes to play free noon concert at WWU July 14

Indie rock group The Globes will play a free concert on the Western Washington University campus Wednesday, July 14, as part of the WWU Associated Students' Summer Noon Concert Series.

The band will play from noon to 1 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Plaza.

The Globes, orginally from Spokane, relocated to Seattle in 2007, releasing their second EP, "Sinter Songs," in 2009.

The remaining schedule for the Summer Noon Concert Series at WWU includes LeRoy Bell & His Only Friends on July 21 and Nettle Honey on July 28.

All concerts in the series are free and open to the public. In the event of rain, the concerts move indoors in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.
