Proposals for biennial budget to be audiocast Feb. 26, March 5

Western Washington University vice presidents will present their proposals for potential decision packages to Western's college deans and the University Planning and Resources Council at meetings Feb. 26 and March 5.

The proposals would be for potential inclusion in Western's 2015-17 biennial budget request.

The two meetings are scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. and will be audiocast to the campus in addition to being archived for those who cannot attend or listen at the scheduled time. The proposals are available for viewing online, and a forum will be posted on Viking Village for campus comments on the proposals until March 14.

Once the comment period closes, the president, vice presidents and deans will review the feedback and develop a recommendation to take to the Board of Trustees at its April meeting. This preliminary discussion with the board will set the stage for further development and vetting with the campus before completion of the decision packages, final approval at the August board meeting and submission to the state in September.
