Favorite quote: "But time and chance happeneth to them all"

Favorite restaurant: Little Cheerful

Favorite Bellingham location: Village Books -- Book Fare Cafe

Memorable vacation: August 2009 in San Marino, Italy -- where my wife, Cathi, and I became engaged.

Favorite WWU memory: Impossible to determine . . . I've been here almost 20 years, and I've acquired so many! My interview for this position ranks right up there in the memorable-moments category, though.

Greatest accomplishment: Parenting -- with all its up and downs, successes and failures, joys and sadnesses.

Current favorite movie: A 1986, six-part BBC production of The Singing Detective (written by Dennis Potter and starring Michael Gambon) . . . absolutely wonderful.

Currently listening to and/or reading: For a little over four years now, a friend and I have read a piece of literature each week, and I have posted reactions to it on my university webpage. The posts are updated every Sunday; the entire four-year-plus history is available by scrolling down and clicking on titles, and I encourage you to take a look! http://myweb.facstaff.wwu.edu/aristos/
