President Shepard offers report card on public higher ed in Washington

Western Washington University President Bruce Shepard on Wednesday shared his grades for public higher education in Washington and offered what Western can do to help raise those grades in the future.

Speaking to the Munro Seminar taking place on the WWU campus, Shepard listed on his report card grades for efficiency and productivity, cost, price, equity of access, quality and the capacity to build brighter futures for Washington. Shepard then discussed Western's role in addressing areas of critical state need and offered a look to Washington's future.
