Political science students selected for State Legislature internships

Eight Western Washington University students were selected for Washington State’s Legislative Internship Program for this legislative session.

They will work with legislators and staff in either the House or Senate in Olympia. Interns will conduct research, bill tracking, constituent correspondence and agency casework. They will participate in weekly seminars and workshops, be given opportunities to attend committee hearings and interact with staff and legislators.

The students awarded the internships are Anthony Ellis (Bothell), Seth Asmeson (Bellingham), Hannah Hendrickson (Bellingham), Kathryn Payne (Tumwater), Elizabeth Pebley (Tacoma), Benjamin Reh (Sammamish), Bradley Sharp (Edmonds) and Sarah Vatne (Pacific).
