Oscar-winner TJ Martin visits Western campus

Western Washington University alumnus TJ Martin, who won an Academy Award on Sunday for his feature-length documentary "Undefeated," visited the WWU campus on Thursday, March 1, to visit with the campus community and screen the film.

He spoke in a class and in the Fairhaven Auditorium in the morning, sandwiched around a lunch visit with students. Later, after several media interview sessions, he screened his film to a packed house in the Performing Arts Center, where he was treated to two standing ovations.
