Just for fun: Students hold paper airplane contest

A handful of Western Washington University students launched paper airplanes off of the fourth floor of the walkway bridge in between Beta stacks four and seven during a paper airplane competition Thursday, May 21, in front of the Beta residence hall on The Ridge.

Prizes eventually were awarded for best decoration, longest airtime and farthest flight. The event was organized by student Lauren Brigolin as a community-building exercise for Beta-Gamma students.
