Dead Parrots perform improvised musical

The Dead Parrots Society, a student improv comedy troupe at Western Washington University, performed its annual Improv Musical in the Old Main Theater this past weekend.

The entire show was improvised by the cast based on a title that they get from the audience at the beginning of the show. This May 23 show was titled “Cheesecake of Love.”

The plot, characters and musical numbers were all subject to the creative whims of the performers.

The next Dead Parrots Society show is an alumni performance on Thursday, May 29. For one night only, DPS alumni Jake Barrow, Tobias Childs, Peter Durning, Kris Erickson, Mario Orallo-Molinaro and Zach Wymore will perform at 8 p.m. in Arntzen Hall Room 4. Tickets are by suggested donation.
