Permanent ballot box installed on campus

The Associated Students Representation & Engagement Programs and the Whatcom County Auditor's office have partnered to have a permanent election ballot drop box installed in front of Western's Associated Students Bookstore. The drop box is currently open; it will close at 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. Ballots for all counties in Washington may be deposited, and no stamp is required if this ballot drop box is used.

The REP will host a ballot printing station from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 5 in the sixth-floor lobby of the Viking Union. There, voters who have lost or didn't receive their ballot can sign in using their driver's license number or social security card number and print off a copy of their ballot to complete and drop it off in the newly installed drop box.
