Open enrollment for benefits begins Nov. 1

The Public Employees Benefits Board program -- the source of employee benefits at Western Washington University -- has an open enrollment from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30. During open enrollment, employees may make a variety of adjustments, including plan changes and who is covered by benefits.

The PEBB program will have many resources available to help employees make informed decisions about benefits. PEBB recently sent out the For Your Benefit newsletter, which -- along with other helpful information -- is available on the PEBB website at www.hca.wa.gov.

Also, Human Resources will provide additional reminders and information to employees in early November. PEBB also holds benefit fairs across the state at which faculty and staff can get information and talk to representatives of PEBB or the plans.
