Notification and Invitation to Submit Comments Regarding the Year 7 Accreditation Evaluation of Western Washington University

The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), a regional accreditor authorized by the U.S. Department of Education, will conduct its regular, Year-7 Evaluation of Western Washington University March 27, 28 & 29. The purpose of the visit is to evaluate the University against the Commission’s requirements for eligibility and accreditation standards.

Western Washington University is currently in good standing with the Commission and has been accredited continuously by NWCCU since 1921. NWCCU most recently reaffirmed Western’s accreditation in 2012.

Individuals who wish to submit comments pertaining to Western’s accreditation are invited to do so. Comments must be signed and sent to NWCCU at the address below. If at all possible, comments should arrive by February 27^th.
