Trimble presents at APA convention in Hawaii

Joseph E. Trimble (psychology) presented three papers titled “Interethnic Conflict, Colonialism, and Conflict Negotiations Among American Indians,” “Well-Being Considerations Among North American Indians: Scripts, Relationships, and Connections” and “Understanding Yup'ik Cultural Values and Practices Utilized in Coping”(with I. Rivkin, S. Johnson, E. Lopez, E. Orr, and J. Allen at the University of Alaska Fairbanks) at the 121st annual convention of the American Psychological Association, Honolulu, Hawaii, in August 2013. In addition, he chaired a symposium titled “Formative Research to Build Understanding for Culturally Resonant Indigenous Interventions” and served as a discussant for the panel.
