Pratt honored for dedication to Selective Service

Ted Pratt, dean of students at Western Washington University, was honored this past month for 20 years as a volunteer board member for the Selective Service System.

The Selective Service System works to be prepared to provide personnel to the Department of Defense in the event of a national emergency and to be prepared to implement an Alternative Service Program conscientious objectors.

Because Selective Service System board members may serve no longer than 20 years, Pratt has now finished his term with board.
