Knute Skinner has poems published, gives readings

Knute Skinner, an English faculty emeritus, has had a number of his works published recently:

  • "Lover" and "I Go Cold with the Memory of It," poems, The Stony Thursday Book, New Series No. 9, 2010, pp. 84 & 85.
  • "A Decent Skin," poem, Crannóg, Number 25, Autumn 2010, p. 79.
  • "The Ruins" and "Her Sister," poems, New Ohio Review, #8,  Fall 2010, pp. 37-40.

Skinner also has given a few readings lately. On Oct. 13, he read his poetry at Cuisle, the Limerick City International Poetry Festival. And on Oct. 26, he read from his memoir "Help Me to a Getaway" at the Unitarian Church, Dublin, under sponsorship by Poetry Ireland.
