Joffrion appointed to a second term on Humanities Washington Board

Elizabeth Joffrion, director of Western Libraries Heritage Resources,  has been appointed to a second term on the Humanities Washington Board of Trustees.   Humanities Washington is the state's flagship non-profit organization for the  promotion of the humanities educational programming, with councils  located in every U.S. state and jurisdiction. Supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities, as well as state and private donors, Humanities Washington offers a rich array of cultural programming opportunities to hundreds of thousands of people throughout Washington State each year, including the Humanities Washington Speakers Bureau Program.  As part of this program, Joffrion has arranged for the upcoming talk featuring Gloria Burgess entitled, “I’ll Fly Away: A Sojourn through Poetry and Spirituals” at WWU’s PAC on October 4th.  (For more information about this event, please see this link.)
