Joe Garcia presents in New Jersey, Wisconsin and Bellingham

Joseph Garcia, director of the Karen W. Morse Institute for Leadership at Western Washington University, was a presenter at a panel discussion session on "Minority non-profits and management faculty of color: Our role, our responsibility" along with session facilitator DeMarcus Pegsues (Columbia University), Donna Marie Blancero (Bentley University), C. Douglas Johnson (Georgia Gwinnett College) and Jeffrey Robinson (Rutgers University). The session was held at the annual Management Faculty of Color Association meetings at Rutger University in Newark, N.J., June 3.

Garcia also was an interviewer for an invited session titled "Conversations with interesting people – Carlos Buhler" at the annual Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference held at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisc., June 10.

On June 14, Garcia presented "Leadership orientations: Their impact on your effectiveness” at the regular meeting of the Bellingham Bay Rotary Club.
