Jack presents on self-silencing research at Boston conference

Dana Jack, a professor in Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Western Washington University, presented Nov. 2, 2014, at the International Symposia for Contemplative Studies in Boston.

Jack's presentation, titled "Self, Non-Self and Silencing the Self: Dangers and Possibilities," brings together the work on self-silencing to the quickly growing field of mindfulness practice and studies.

In addition to other courses, Jack has taught "The Psychology of Mindfulness and Well-being" at Fairhaven for seven years.
