Grimm, five undergrads publish paper in journal 'Psychopharmacology'

Jeffrey Grimm, a professor of psychology at Western Washington University, co-authored a paper with five WWU undergraduate students in the journal "Psychopharmacology" in February. The paper, "Effects of systemic or nucleus accumbens-directed dopamine D1 receptor antagonism on sucrose seeking in rats," looks at the effects of a dopamine (neurotransmitter) receptor blocker on sucrose seeking. The study involved injecting the drug either systemically or directly into brain regions known to be involved in motivation.
