Dunn speaks to Association of Washington Cities on ethical decision-making

Craig Dunn, dean of the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University, spoke on ethical decision-making at the Association of Washington Cities' annual conference June 26 in Wenatchee.

In his talk, Dunn gave an overview of the ethical standards for local government officials and employees, and he explored the cause and effect of unethical behavior and the impact and costs of such behavior. He also helped conference attendees recognize situations and issues that may lead to ethical conflicts and inappropriate outcomes, and he identified steps to take to create a culture that promotes ethical behavior and instills confidence in government.
