Paid opportunity: Commencement staff needed 

Dear Campus Colleagues, 

On Saturday, Dec. 11 our community will come together to celebrate our most recent Western graduates at Fall commencement. The two ceremonies will be the first in-person commencement events in two years and will include graduates from both summer and fall 2021. 

As you can imagine, the in-person ceremonies require new procedures and protocols to keep everyone safe and therefore we need additional staff to assist with the event. Are you able to work in this temporary paid position? 

Details of work: 

• Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 

• Hours needed: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm 

• Positions: Ushers in the gym and staff for vaccination/test verification stations 

• Safety precautions at event: Masks will be required indoors and everyone 12 and older will be required to show vaccination records or proof of 72-hour negative COVID test 

• Limited, reduced capacity at Carver Academic Facility
