Western's Employee Language Program seeks ASL instructor

Due to increased demand, The Employee Language Program is looking for someone to teach American Sign Language (ASL) starting summer quarter. Open to all Western employees, these workshops support faculty and staff through professional development, and encourage multicultural outreach and awareness. Language learners of all levels are welcome.

The ASL instructor must meet one of the following criteria to be considered:

  • National Interpreter Certification (NIC)
  • Certificate of Interpretation or Certificate of Transliteration (CI/CT)
  • Bachelor of Arts in ASL
  • ASL Teaching Certificate OR equivalent proficiency
