Western's Office of Sustainability is facilitating its Viking Supported Agriculture (VSA) program that connects students, staff, and faculty to farmers who deliver boxes of their farm fresh items, a “farm box,” directly to campus. You can learn more about the benefits of connecting to farmers in this way at Sustainable Connections' CSA website.

Beginning Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 a.m., 21st Street between the Interdisciplinary Science Building site and the Rec Center all-weather field will be closed for installation of a utility vault. Parking lot 19G will be closed, and all vehicles must be removed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.

Western Washington University Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man whose body was found at about 2:10 p.m. on March 5, 2020 in a wooded area north of the Buchanan Towers North Residence Hall on Western’s main campus in Bellingham.

The deceased is pictured in this photo, shown at right, leaving the Walgreens on Samish Way in Bellingham after making a purchase at 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, He is described as a caucasian male in his 20s, and 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds.
