Zaferatos to share stories of faculty-led travel in Greece May 3

Ithaca, the Greek island famous as the home of the wayward Ulysses, is also the setting for one of Western Washington University's most successful faculty-led programs. At noon on May 3 in College Hall Room 131, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies Nicholas Zaferatos will describe the goals and experiences of his Ithaca academic program and also introduces the audience to one of the most beautiful and historic spots in the Mediterranean.

This lecture, titled “Designing a Sustainable Development International Curriculum in Ithaca, Greece,” is sponsored by the Center for International Studies at WWU. All lectures as part of this series are free and open to the public.
