Youth symphony to perform June 7 on campus

The North Sound Youth Symphony's Spring Benefit Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 7, at Western Washington University.

To raise additional money for the symphony, the annual spring concert will be a benefit concert, and several groups and individuals will be on hand to complement the symphony's regular ensembles.

Performers:

  • Anna Schaad and David MacVittie will be playing selections of Celtic-Blues fusion.
  • North Sound Youth Symphony conductors will be joining together with a Mozart quintet.
  • Student members will be performing as part of chamber groups.
  • NSYS regular ensembles will perform symphony, philharmonia, and wind ensemble.

Requested donations at the door are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Limited free parking available in lots 11G and 14G. Donations and sponsorships go to support NSYS scholarships and programs.
